Yet another horrifying event took place today which shows us just how life can imitate art. A man gunned down two clowns in Bogota today. The unfortunate incident seems to recall a “Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy” skit on Saturday Night Live from 15 years ago (estimation):
To me, clowns aren’t funny. In fact, they’re kind of scary. I’ve wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.
Perhaps the guy they got the quote from decided it was finally time for retribution.
