There was a fire in my apartment building last night. Not entirely sure what the details are, but one apartment was totally burned out. We had to stay elsewhere last night, but the disaster response guys who showed up last night ran an air test and we’ve been informed that we can stay in our places tonight. It smells like smoke in my apartment and the fire department broke my lock on my door to check for occupants/fire. But that appears to be the only”damage”.
News teams were right on the scene, Channel 7 even showed up before the fire department, even. Here’s a Fox31 News report, where I got interviewed - Click the “videos” link to see (worst interview ever).
