Savor, por favor?*

Savor – An American Craft Beer & Food Experience from Flying Dog Brewery on Vimeo.

When I was on the East Coast, I worked at Savor, a beer festival that was all about pairing American Craft Beer and gourmet food. I poured a bunch of beer for happy folks, gave away a few free tickets outside, and also shot a bunch of video. Some of which is above.

If you want to watch it in a much higher resolution, watch it on vimeo.com.

*That title sucks, but I feel like I’ve already used a couple Savor-themed blog entry titles over at beerdinners.com. Maybe my luck has run out on them. The best was titled “Flavor Savor” – how could I beat that one?

Savor

I wrote a blog entry over at beerdinners.com about Savor, a craft beer and food “experience”. It’s a pretty cool even, happening in Washington D.C. in May. I’m attending with a few other members of our brewery and will be taking photos, shooting HD video, twittering and all of that. Liveblogging, if you will. It looks to be a pretty amazing event. And I also took a look at the location, the Mellon Auditorium, nestled right in the middle of everything.

Plus I wanted to test out an embedded Google map.

I photoblogged the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival

This is a crosspost from another blog I write for, FlyingDogNews.com.

We’re back from Telluride, and definitely still recovering. The festival was definitely a success, even though some Sunday rain tried to get people down (it’s the BLUES festival, after all). I photoblogged a bunch of events and they’re available in the Telluride Blues and Brews set @ our flickr site (click here for a nice slide show).

We had some cool stuff going, including our very own Flying Dog-branded Plinko Board, which will also be showcased at the Great American Beer Fest next month.

We're on the western slope, people! Tweener set before grace potter Amy from California wins our first Plinko jackpot Grooving to the music Grace Potter and the Nocturnals at the historic Sheridan Opera House, Telluride More mofro

The music was wonderful, my personal favorites were Joe Bonamassa and Grace Potter.
