Is America more sexist or more racist?

I should have posted my thoughts on this subject a while back, because I’ve been thinking about it for a while. When deciding on a Democratic nominee before the Colorado Caucuses, I decided that it’s important to endorse a candidate that has the best chance of becoming President. I feel that Obama understands the younger Democrats better than Clinton, and that’s why I’m pro-Obama (pro-bama?). But if Clinton gets the nomination, I’ll be all behind her. Which sounds sexual, but I wouldn’t want Bill to go after me for sleeping with his woman.

But the real question (and this is coming from someone who works in a marketing department) is which candidate is more electable? Which begs the question: Is America more sexist or more racist? CNN reached out to a group of Ohio women to get their views on the role sexism and racism are playing in the presidential race. I’d love to say that sex and race shouldn’t make a difference because we’re America, but the harsh reality is that there are a huge number of both sexists and racists in this country. I’m hopeful for the day when these preconceived notions go away.

I don’t have the answer to these questions, but I have a feeling that if Clinton gets the nomination, plenty of Anti-Hillary Republicans will be motivated to get out and vote against her, no matter if they support McCain or not.
