Earthworks 2007 Expo
Kevin pointed me to the Earthworks 2007 Expo, taking place at the Merchandise Mart in Denver, July 27-29. From their website:
EarthWorks Expo is a celebration of solutions that enable our evolution to a truly sustainable society.
It looks like the Expo has 6 categories – Renewable Energy, Green Transportation, Green Building, Sustainable Agriculture, Resource Conservation, and Relocalization. Tickets are $12 if you purchase them in advance ($19 at the door).
My New God is Simplify Media
Have you ever wanted to legally share music over the internet through iTunes? Your wait has come to an end. Simplify Media allows you to share your library with up to 30 friends (or computers) across the world. FOR FREE! Holy crapballs. I like this solution for a variety of reasons. I have lots of music at home and can’t fit it all onto my laptop or ipod – Simplify Media makes it so I don’t have to worry about that crap anymore.
I think that it doesn’t allow you to share iTunes Music Store purchases, and that makes sense (stupid DRM).
Do you know me and want to share music? Drop me a line, leave me a comment, call me on my phone, get in touch with me.
Esquire Magazine Lettering and Littering

Apparently, Benicio Del Toro was doing a photo shoot for Esquire magazine and they had him throw a $1,200 physical logo of theirs into some water. And then they weren’t allowed to go get it. So it’s just fucking floating around in the ocean or something.
Maybe they can find it and prosecute Esquire on California Coastal Cleanup Day.
All Good Festival Live Videocast All Weekend
Well, a near-live videocast. Check out iclips.net and see the link for the All Good Festival. It’s slick and flash-based, but the scrollbars really suck. But the festival is great. Yonder already played (I have it saved on my computer), Keller Williams and the Keels (Larry Keel is a guitar GOD), Bob Weir and Ratdog (if that’s your thing), Les Claypool, Leftover Salmon, and more.
Happy festivaling!
