In the 24 universe, I’m happy I live in a cowtown

Don’t worry, no spoilers here. In last night’s 2 hour episode of 24, the CTU analysts use a 15″ MacBook Pro. Same as me. The tactical team looking for a terrorist on an airplane full of terrorists was getting his image data for visual confirmation on a Dell Axim, which is also something I own.
I […]

Putting the ass in assist

twistassist.com solves almost all your lazy fatass needs. The website is pretty awesome, I’d say it’s closest to an edutainment site. Ryan and I were shooting the shit a few minutes ago about it and he told me that they need to make a torus-shaped Twist Assist. I’ve taken a stab at the names and […]

It’s like this movie I once saw, called The Highlander, because “there can be only one.”*

A woman in Sacramento died from Water Intoxication from taking part in a radio station promotion called “Hold Your Wee for a Wii”. Sort of makes Hands on a Hard Body into an instant cult classic horror flick. Even more disturbing information in the Trivia page of the IMDB link. In reality, I’m a big […]

Unknown Motives

There was an explosion in the US Embassy in Athens today (video clip of the site from a few months ago here). No word as to the cause.Think it’s a coincedence that it’s the day after George Bush told the world that he’s bulking up the US Military presence in Iraq?* Or is it coincedence […]

More iPhooey

I’ve just started reading Eric Siry’s Seen and Not Seen Business 2.0 blog recently and I like what he’s got to say, especially what he’s got to say about the iPhone. I certainly am in his camp on this. Until there is real functionality and 3rd party application support, I think I can wait. I’d […]

iPhone needs a good iWarranty

Apple (finally) unveiled their iPhone today. It’s $499 (4GB hard drive) and $599 (8GB hard drive), but you still need to sign up for a 2 year contract with Cingular.
Some features:
2 megapixel camera
iPod functionality (widescreen for movies, too)
phone (obviously)
Safari (pretty rad looking, apparently the most full-featured phone internet browser)
First impressions: Looks decent, but the price […]
